A BCA produces business change plans that engage all impacted stakeholders, deliver high quality business change analytics such as project risk assessments, sponsor engagement and change competency assessments, and identifying risks and issues associated with the business change elements of projects.
A Business Analyst bridges the gap between IT and the business to improve efficiency. They use data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
They are responsible for creating new models that support business decisions by working closely with finance and IT teams to establish strategies to improve performance and to optimize costs. There are various tasks a BA will undertake including forecasting and budgeting, creating a detailed business analysis plan, reporting and monitoring, as well as defining requirements.
You'll work within businesses and organisations to monitor and evaluate how well risks and regulation are being managed and complied with.
Responsibilities include performing risk assessments on key business activities, preparing reports to highlight issues and problems, assessing how well the business is complying to rules and regulations, managing stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications, and educating employees on not only the regulations, but also the impact on the organisation if these aren't complied with.
